Doctor Strange star Benedict Wong is set to star in another highly anticipated comic book adaptation.

The actor is among the group cast in Syfy's adaptation of the graphic Deadly Class, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The pilot is described as a coming-of-age journey set against the backdrop of the late '80s. The project follows a disillusioned teen recruited into a storied high school for assassins. Maintaining his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques, and his own adolescent uncertainties may prove fatal.

Wong is set for the role of Master Lin, the headmaster of the School for the Deadly Arts. Deadly and feared, he's an ever-changing chameleon who keeps his students desperate for his approval. Also known for his roles in The Martian and Black Mirror, he will next reprise his Doctor Strange role in Avengers: Infinity War. He is repped by himself and Attorney Robert Wallerstein.

Benjamin Wadsworth (Teen Wolf) will play Marcus, an awkward outcast full of social anxiety struggling to find his place in the cold and brutal world of high school. Forced to survive life on the streets of San Francisco, he’s still somehow morally centered in an unethical world. The actor, whose other credits include the unaired Let the Right One In pilot, is repped by UTA, Principato-Young and Myman, Greenspan.

Lana Condor (X-Men: Apocalypse) will play Saya, who is driven to be valedictorian and will let nothing stand in her way. Mysterious and guarded with a deadly reputation, she was banished from one of the top Yakuza clans in Japan, sent to the School for the Deadly Arts to redeem herself. Her other credits include Patriot's Day and James Franco's High School Lover. She is repped by ICM and attorney Matt Rosen.

Maria Gabriela de Faria will portray Maria. One minute Maria’s an extrovert and an exhibitionist, a tornado of fast-changing emotions — fierce, charming, beautiful and oozing femininity — the next she’s murderous, feral, and crippled by rage. At the School for the Deadly Arts her instability is treated like a super power. Known for her roles in the Latin America series Yo Soy Franky and Sitiados, De Faria is repped by Buchwald, Sheri Howell at SuperKollider Management, and Chad Christopher / Hayes Robbins at Stone, Genow.

Newcomer Luke Tennie is set as Willie, a hardened gangster who is actually an honest and thoughtful person underneath. He'd rather be reading comic books and listening to music than engaging in blood work, but is forced into the school by his mother, leader of an LA gang. The actor, repped by Abrams Artists Agency and Primary Wave Entertainment, has roles in the upcoming films Shock and Awe and Vengeance.

The Way, Way Back star Liam James will play Billy, skater punk, son of a corrupt cop and now a misfit at the school. Off kilter and high energy with a glimmer of mischief in his eye, Billy combats every situation with sarcasm and humor. His other credits include The Family and The Killing, and he is repped by Management 360, Gersh and Stone Genow.

Michel Duval (Queen of the South) will portray Chico, a scary, muscular, son of a cartel drug lord. Everyone knows not to mess with Chico, except his girlfriend. His other roles include the Mexican version of Gossip Girl, Señora Acero, Ultimo Año. He is repped by TOR Entertainment/Talent On The Road Management.

Additionally, Henry Rollins (Sons of Anarchy) is confirmed for a recurring role on the drama.

The Russo Brothers (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) are attached to exec produce the pilot along with Adam Targum, Rick Remender, Miles Orion Feldsott, Mike Larocca, and Lee Toland Krieger. Universal Cable Productions and Sony Pictures Television will co-produce.
