USA Network has found its next drama.
The network has given a straight-to-series order to a series adaptation of Philipp Meyer's book American Rust, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The drama of the same name is set in a small Pennsylvania rust belt town and follows the rise and fall of a crime-riddled community as seen through the eyes of a sheriff with a history of violence.
This is the second series adaptation of Meyer's work following AMC's period drama The Son starring Pierce Brosnan.
