ABC has given a put pilot order to a one-hour drama from Martin Gero and Brendan Gall, Variety has learned exclusively.
Titled “Trouble Finds Me,” the series follows a tough but lonely New York stuntwoman who helps an inexperienced single mom take over her late father’s private detective business, forming an odd-couple partnership and friendship as they work their various P.I. cases.
Gero and Gall will write and executive produce. Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter will also executive produce. Berlanti Productions and Quinn’s House will produce in association with Warner Bros. Television, where Berlanti Productions is set up under an overall deal.
