Girls Code - Comedy from Paul Feig in Development at Freeform

The younger-skewing, Disney-owned cable network, Freeform, is teaming with prolific director Paul Feig to develop half-hour comedy Girls Code.

The comedy, which is in development, is a women-in-the-workplace comedy about an anti-social tech CEO and an outspoken feminist nonprofit warrior who must put aside their many issues with one another in order to mastermind a groundbreaking, all-women tech incubator.

Inspired by female coders, robotic scientists and social entrepreneurs, Anonymous Content's Joy Gorman Wettels brought the original idea to Feig and Kim Rosenstock (New Girl, Glow). The latter will pen the script and exec produce alongside Feigco Entertainment's Jessie Henderson. The comedy is being produced by Paramount Television and Anonymous Content. Should Girls Code move to pilot, Feig would direct.
