The actress and exec producer is teaming with New Girl producer Kim Rosenstock for an untitled family comedy at the network.
The comedy revolves around a newly single mother who is forced to rely on the last people she wants help from: her family.
The project, which has received a sizable put-pilot commitment from the network, will be penned by Rosenstock and exec produced by Poehler and her Universal Television-based Paper Kite Productions. Dave Becky will exec produce for 3 Arts Entertainment. Kim Lessing is on board as a producer.
