The Juno screenwriter has sold an hourlong drama about an ex-cop to Fox, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Titled Two Nights, the project follows an ex-cop named Sunday Night who simply wants to be left alone with her pet squirrel. However, when her foster father asks for help in the kidnapping case of a young girl, Sunday is pulled away from her island home and back into the world of law enforcement. She must confront her own demons as she solves cases for the criminal investigative division of the FBI.
Finding Carter creator Emily Silver will write the script and exec produce with Cody. The project marks the latter's first through her recently signed overall deal with Warner Bros. Television, which will produce.
