CBS is teaming with Rob Thomas to adapt popular web series I Mom So Hard as a multicamera comedy.
The project, which landed at CBS with a sizable pilot production commitment, is based on the web series of the same name and revolves around two moms who show how their friendship gets them through being wives and mothers.
Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley, who created and star in the web series, are attached to topline the CBS version and co-write the script alongside Michelle Nader (2 Broke Girls, Kath & Kim, The King of Queens). Thomas will exec produce the Warner Bros. Television comedy via his studio-based Spondoolie Productions. Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge are also attached as EPs.
