This week on The Fosters:
Mariana is trying to get everyone to go to the prom, so Brandon is trying to come up with a way to ask Grace to the prom. Brandon is also throwing Mike and Ana an engagement party at the Adams-Fosters house so most of the episode plays out at the engagement party where we get to see most of the characters in the show interact.
Jude has to find a way to tell Taylor that the gaming company only wanted him as an ambassador and not her. He gets some advice from Noah on how to break the news to her so that he can still take the job without her being mad about it.
Jesus is still really into the idea that him and Emma are engaged and I'm just so overwhelmed with this storyline to be honest because obviously Jesus is not really thinking clearly and we really got to see how Emma is really feeling about this engagement throughout the episode which I think was a good thing. They are still so young and Emma recognizes the fact that they are not ready to be engaged. At the end of the episode we find Jesus in the garage and it's empty except for a letter that Gabe left that had Jesus name of it. That scene broke my heart because we've really gotten to see how much Gabe means to Jesus so I'm sad that he left.
Stef and Lena are trying to manage the Jesus situation most of the episode. They talk to Emma and find out the truth about how she was feeling. Stef and Lena have a really nice and emotional scene when they talk about that they are in this together and they're going to do everything that they can in order to get their boy back.
Favourite character:
I was having trouble choosing someone for this episode because I actually really liked most characters in this episode but I feel like Brandon was just doing everything he could for his dad which made me so happy. The song that he and Grace sang to Mike was just so beautiful and it made me tear up. Seeing how Mike reacted to the song just made it even more emotional and special so that was such a nice moment in this episode.
Best/Favourite scene:
One of my favourite scenes was between Emma and Mariana towards the end of the episode after Emma and Jesus had a big fight. Emma was sitting outside of the Adams-Fosters house and Mariana sits down beside her and comforts her as she tells her that she misses Jesus too. The TBI storyline is really emotional because it affects so many people and I'm so glad that Emma and Mariana could finally set their differences aside and just be there for each other during this difficult time because they both love Jesus so much and just wants him back.
Best quote:
AJ to Callie: "Don't give up on what you really want just to do what's easier. Do what makes you happy"
Mariana to Emma: "I miss him too"
