Maniac, written by Patrick Somerville based on the 2014 Norwegian series, revolves around the fantasy worlds of Hill and Stone’s characters. Theroux will play James Mantleray. No character description is being provided but he is believed to be playing a mad-scientist-type doctor who may have a problem with alcohol.
