Law & Order: SVU is adding a very familiar face to the mix for season 19.
Brooke Shields has been tapped for a major recurring role on the long-running NBC drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Details on her character are being kept under wraps other than the tease that her role will shake up Benson's (Mariska Hargitay) world.
“I play a very different character from any I have ever played,” Shields said in a statement. “I'm excited to stir the SVU pot a bit.”
