Hey all,
Reigning champion Person of Interest begins its defence today. The show's record in the site's competitions during the final two years of it being a current show - 2015 and 2016 - is absurd, having dominated virtually everything it possibly could. We're over a year on from the series finale and it will be fascinating to see whether it is still a powerhouse. Today's competition? Gossip Girl, which has dropped in and out of the competition over the years and appears for a consecutive year for the first time. Given that its best performance - in 2011 - was a high-ranking first-round knockout, I don't give it much chance today.
This next battle is an interesting one. Two and a half years on, people still love Glee. It is a show I don't consider likely to really challenge for the title, but can certainly do some damage in the early rounds. Its opponent here is Forever, a show that despite having lasted just one season appears to be living up to its name. Getting here is an impressive feat given I have read so few comments on the site about it since last year. Tough to call who makes it through here.
A reminder of the rules:
1) Two shows will go into battle in a poll, where after exactly 24 hours, the leading show will win the battle and will progress into the next round. Each poll will open at 12pm ET on a given day.
2) Vote for your favourite and spread the word with your friends & fans.
3) One vote per person per poll.
4) Comment on what you voted for on in the comments below.
5) Have fun. This is a friendly & competitive competition. Please do not start attacking other fans or fangroups in the comments, because this really isn't what this competition is about.

Don't forget to Facebook, Tweet, and share the poll with your friends! The more people that you get to vote, the better chance your favourites will win!
