ABC is putting The Catch showrunner and Wonder Woman screenwriter Allan Heinberg on lockdown and looking to his next project.
Heinberg has signed an overall deal with ABC Studios and is reteaming with Shondaland to develop drama Adult Behavior for the Disney-owned network.
Under the pact, Heinberg — who was tapped to replace the creator of The Catch after creative issues in season one — will develop new projects for the studio. Adult Behavior is the first project to stem from his new pact. It is described as a sexy multi-generational comedic drama that is inspired by Queer as Folk creator Russell T. Davies’ 2015 British TV series Cucumber and Banana. (Both series recently aired stateside on Viacom-owned Logo.)
