After an attempt to cheer up Pete (Pete Holmes) goes wrong, Artie (Artie Lange) tags along with him to a baptism. Artie gets insight into religion and God from a woman, and Pete runs into Jess (Lauren Lapkus), which makes him question how much he is willing to sacrifice for a life in comedy.
