Bozer was finally sent on his first outing with the team...but it didn't go as planned.
In this episode, Matty sends the team to Amsterdam to intercept a dutch politician who's working for terrorist. They find Olivia Prior, the politician, at a cafe, Mac uses his knowledge of wires to listen into her phone. She picks up a bomb in a bag and notices Mac, she bolts for it while leaving the bag on the floor. Unfortunately, while the team move the bomb to a space place to explode, the dutch intelligence now think the team are the terrorists and every cop in Amsterdam is after them.
We find out that Jack can speak Dutch and French because he has a girlfriend in Holland, Jack and his girlfriend sort things out as he just left one day and they use her home as a hideout until they have a plan to leave the country. Back at The Phoenix Foundation, Matty has to disavow the team and cut all ties to them before anyone figures out that they are operating illegally on foreign ground. The team has to figure everything out by themselves and once they get to Olivia again they find out they've been set up by...you guessed it, Patricia Thornton! Glad to hear her name again and hopefully will lead to an explosive final few episodes.
Matty uses her contacts to send the team some information about how the dutch operate their CCTV cameras in the country. They find that if they can get into the main building in Holland, they can reconstruct the CCTV of Olivia dropping the bag and Mac saving everyone. There's one problem getting into the building which is security, their faces are all over the news, luckily Bozer is with them. Once he uses food and other kitchen things, Riley and Mac head to the dutch Intelligence building to find the CCTV, however, they didn't plan on it being so hot in the server room and their prosthetics are melting away. Bozer comes up with a not so great plan of running into the Lobby to distract security while Riley finishes up with the CCTV. All goes to bozer's plan and the tape is shown through all tv's and mac and the team are let off the hook.
I didn't like or dislike this episode, it was very average. I like how Bozer was being serious throughout the episode andit made his character a litle bit more believable. I was obvious that something was up at the start and I already guess Thornton would be mentioned in the episode when matty let the team know what their mission was but I love how she is slowly being reintroduced and hopefully, we will see her in the not so distant future! I'm getting very excited for the H5O and MacGyver crossover, though!
