CBS is ready to explore life by the Bible.
The network has handed out a pilot order to comedy Living Biblically, based on the book The Year of Living Biblically by A.J. Jacobs.
The comedy centers on a modern-day man who, at a crossroads in his life, decides to live life according to the Bible.
The comedy was developed as a single-camera and will now be shot as a multicamera. It is written by Patrick Walsh (2 Broke Girls) and exec produced by The Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki as part of his overall deal with Big Bang producers Warner Bros. Television. The comedy landed at CBS in September following a multiple network bidding war.
