Question: That show isn’t seemingly connected to the larger connected X-Men universe, but will your show be?

I didn't want to do anything like, “Wolverine is just off screen!” It exists in a world where those questions are answered without needing to name a lot of names or spend a lot of time dwelling on those issues.
Within that, there is certainly a certain amount of those characters that I can use and I'm using some of those. Other characters I'm inventing but everything is invented with a nod to the existing mythology

Fox is yet to order its first pilot this January. Among the scripts that are heating up is the action-adventure X-Men series written by Burn Notice creator Matt Nix. Early versions of the script had been received enthusiastically at Fox as well as producing studios 20th Century Fox TV and Marvel TV. Fox chairman Gary Newman noted that they had not seen the final draft but expects a pilot pickup within the next week or two.
The untitled series, which had a put pilot commitment, focuses on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive. The show appears particularly timely, dealing with the plight of minorities in society.
