In Working Title Television’s first development season since Andrew Stearn joined as president, the company — a joint venture with NBCU International Studios, which is overseen by Michael Edelstein, and Working Title Films’ Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner — has set up three broadcast drama series projects: an adaptation of James Renner’s book The Man From Primrose Lane at Fox with feature director-producer Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes); the Bermuda triangle-themed Triangle at NBC; and dance drama DTLA at ABC, penned by Valley Girl co-writer Amy Talkington. Stearn, Bevan and Fellner are executive producing all three with Working Title president of US production Liza Chasin.

In West Akron, Ohio, an elderly man from Primrose Lane was murdered. Fast-forward four years to David Neff, the bestselling author of a true-crime book about an Ohio serial killer, who decides to investigate. The closer he gets to uncovering the man’s true identity, the more he begins to understand the reality-altering power of his own obsessions — and how they may be connected to the deaths of the old hermit and David’s beloved wife.

NBC’s Triangle, written/executive produced by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy (Stan Against Evil) and exec produced by former The Good Wife executive producer/director Brooke Kennedy, is a one-hour drama set in the exotic and dangerous world of the Bermuda Triangle. Under the authority of U.S. Naval Intelligence, ex-lovers Wes Fallon and Marti Estevez investigate the bizarre phenomena associated with the area while searching for clues to the fate of Wes’s brother and Marti’s husband, Tom Fallon, who mysteriously disappeared there.

ABC’s DTLA, a co-production with ABC Studios, is set against the backdrop of up and coming Downtown Los Angeles. It centers on a celebrity choreographer who must fight to protect her status, family, business and secrets while she grooms a vulnerable young protege who will put her back on top.
