THE FLASH RACES TO ITS MOST WATCHED EPISODE IN TWO YEARS AS #DCWEEK SPEEDS UP
“The Flash” Hits Season Highs in All Key Demos as the Heroes vs. Aliens Crossover Event Continues
November 30, 2016 (Burbank, CA) - With The CW’s DC crossover week in full speed, last night’s THE FLASH raced to its most watched episode (4.09M) in almost two years (12/9/14) and its highest rated episode of the season, according to preliminary fast affiliate ratings from Nielsen Media Research for November 29, 2016.
THE FLASH drew a 1.2/5 in adults 18-34, its best rating in that demo since 5/10/16, and a 1.5/5 in adults 18-49, its best since 2/16/16.
THE FLASH was up +3% in total viewers from last year’s crossover episode, +7% in adults 18-49, and matched its rating in adults 18-34.
THE FLASH ranked #2 in the 8-9pm hour in adults 18-34, #3 (tie) in adults 18-49, and #1 in men 18-34 (1.4/7).
Versus last week’s episode, THE FLASH was up +39% in total viewers, +50% in adults 18-34, +36% in adults 18-49 and +75% in men 18-34.
For the night, The CW’s Tuesday was up +37% in total viewers (2.576M), +60% in adults 18-34 (0.8/3), and +29% in adults 18-49 (0.9/3). It was The CW’s most watched Tuesday since 2/23/16.
THE FLASH is also one of the most heavily time-shifted shows on broadcast television. This season it’s averaging a +79% increase in adults 18-49 in Live + 7 Day delayed viewing over its Live + Same Day totals, a +72% jump in adults 18-34, and a +69% gain in total viewers.
