    Ratings Breakdown:
A half-hour NFL primetime overrun at 7 p.m. on the East Coast lifted CBS to Sunday overnight dominance. It scored a 17.2 rating/28 share into an estimated 13.1/20 (#1) for granddaddy “60 Minutes” from 7:30-8:30 p.m. ET. All results for CBS are approximate due to the football overrun. Next was “NCIS: Los Angeles” at an 8.6/13 from 8:30-9:30 p.m., followed by “Madam Secretary” at a 6.6/10 from 9:30-10:30 p.m. and “Elementary” at a 3.9/ 8 from 10:30-11:30 p.m. All three of the CBS dramas were above average and all three finished second in their respective time periods.

The “Sunday Night Football” match-up on NBC was the Kansas City Chiefs at the Denver Broncos, and it averaged an approximate 11.7/19 for the primetime portion from 8:30-11 p.m. ET. Comparably, this was 27 percent below the 16.0/25 for football on NBC on the year-ago evening.

ABC finished in the very distant No. 3 spot care of an encore telecast of veteran “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (#2: 3.1/ 5 at 7 p.m.), followed by original low-rated installments of “Once Upon a Time” (#3: 2.1/ 3), “Secrets and Lies” (#3: 2.1/ 3) and “Quantico” (#3: 1.7/ 3) from 8-11 p.m. Effective on Jan. 23, 2017, “Quantico” will move into the Monday 10 p.m. hour. ABC has not confirmed what will replace “Quantico” on Sunday.

Fox was in all repeats last night with its combination of animated special “Ice Age”: A Mammoth Christmas” (#2: 2.4/ 4), “Bob’s Burgers” (#4: 1.6/ 2), “The Simpsons” (#4: 1.6/ 2), “Son of Zorn” (#4: 1.0/ 1), “Family Guy” (#4: 1.1/ 2) and “The Last Man on Earth” (#4: 0.8/ 1).
