    Ratings Breakdown:
ABC led this second Monday in November in the metered market overnights care of the 8.0 rating/12 share in households for “Dancing With the Stars” from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, that bested competing “The Voice” on NBC (6.3/10 from 8-10 p.m.) by 27 percent. NBC, of course, will have the advantage among adults 18-49 (and all the key young adult demographics).

Both ABC and NBC, however, continue to underperform in the Monday 10 p.m. hour with freshman dramas “Conviction” and “Timeless.” Each scored a modest 3.1/ 5 in the overnights, with erosion of 30 percent for “Conviction” versus “Castle” (4.4/ 7 on 11/16/15) and 37 percent for “Timeless” versus “Blindspot” (4.9/ 8 on 11/16/15) on the year-ago evening. And both trailed competing “Scorpion” on CBS (4.8/ 8) by 35 percent.

Of positive note for “Scorpion” was building from “The Odd Couple” (#3: 3.1/ 5 at 9:30 p.m.) by 55 percent.

Earlier in the evening on CBS were sitcoms “Kevin Can Wait” (#3: 4.6/ 7), “Man with a Plan” (#3: 3.9/ 6) and “2 Broke Girls” (#3: 3.5/ 5) from 8-9:30 p.m., which were all virtually identical to one week earlier. Despite the additional six episode order for “Man with a Plan,” “Kevin Can Wait” with Kevin James at 8 p.m. is the comedy newbie on CBS that shows the most promise this season.

Elsewhere, “Supergirl” on The CW opened with a 2.0/ 3 at 8 p.m., which almost tripled the 0.7/ 1 in the overnights for year-ago time period occupant “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” (0.7/ 1 on 11/16/15). But overnight slippage of 60 percent for “Jane the Virgin” at 9 p.m. (0.8/ 1) is far too severe.

Fox had nothing unusual to report with its drama pairing of “Gotham” (#4: 2.6/ 4) and “Lucifer” (2.7/ 4).

Here is the half-hour breakdown for Monday, November 14:
