  • Early HH Ratings from Marc Berman (programminginsider)
The analysis below is based on the early household numbers and are NOT the same as the numbers that will be posted in the above table later. (See the About section below)

NOTE: The opinions expressed here are NOT those of SpoilerTV but of the Author of this Article, Marc Berman.

    -Winners:
    “The Big Bang Theory” (CBS)

    -Respectable:
“Mom” (CBS), “Life in Pieces” (CBS), “Chicago Med” (NBC), “The Blacklist” (NBC)

    -Disappointing:
    “The Great Indoors” (CBS)

    –Losers:
“Superstore” (NBC), “Rosewood” (Fox), “Notorious” (ABC), “Pitch” (Fox), “Pure Genius” (CBS)

    Ratings Breakdown:
Led by “The Big Bang Theory,” CBS had another comfortable advantage in the Thursday metered market overnights. All is certainly not perfect, however. “The Big Bang Theory” opened with a hefty 9.4 rating/16 share at 8 p.m., which stands well above anything else on the evening. But laugh-challenged lead-out “The Great Indoors” dipped to a second-place 4.9/ 8 at 8:30 p.m., which was 48 percent below lead-in “Big Bang” and four percent below year-ago time period occupant “Life in Pieces” (5.1/ 8 on 11/12/15). While no one expects any comedy to hold the “Big Bang” audience, erosion of this magnitude means CBS is wasting valuable primetime real estate.

Next on the Eye net was “Mom” at a dominant 4.8/ 8 in the household overnights in the 9 p.m. half-hour, followed by relocated “Life in Pieces,” which payed homage to the late Ann Morgan Guilbert, at an acceptable second-place 4.1/ 7 at 9:30 p.m. But week three of drama “Pure Genius” scored only a 3.6/ 6 (#2) at 10 p.m., which last week translated into just a 0.9 rating/3 share in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data. Tick, tock…the cancellation clock is ticking.

In fall season-finale news, NBC featured two episodes of critically worthy sitcom “Superstore,” which finished a distant third in both half-hours with a 2.6/ 4 at 8 p.m. and a 2.5/ 4 at 8:30 p.m. Look for an estimated low 1-rating in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data, for “Superstore” (which is so worthy of a larger audience).

Next on NBC was “Chicago Med,” which at a 4.3/ 7 (#2) from 9-10 p.m. was 72 percent above the 8:30 p.m. installment of “Superstore.” Growth among adults 18-49 will not be as significant, however. And “The Blacklist” capped off the night with a first-place 4.1/ 7 at 10 p.m., which was 11 percent above the 3.7/ 6 one week earlier.

Over at ABC, “How To Get Away With Murder” (#3: 3.3/ 6 at 10 p.m.) has paid the price with limited lead-in support from “Notorious” (#3: 2.7/ 4 at 9 p.m.), which slipped by 38 percent from the 5.3/ 9 one year earlier. Fortunately, “Scandal” is slated to return to the Thursday 9 p.m. time period on January 19, 2017.

Earlier in the evening on ABC was warhorse “Grey’s Anatomy” at a consistent 5.2/ 9 in the 8 p.m. hour.

Elsewhere, Fox’s drama combination of “Rosewood” (#4: 2.4/ 4) and “Pitch” (#4: 2.0/ 3) is barely resonating. “Rosewood” moves to Friday at 8 p.m. effective on January 6. And The CW populated the evening with “D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow” (#5: 1.4/ 2), which just had its second season episode order increase from 13 to 17 hours, and compatible “Supernatural” (#5: 1.2/ 2).

What follows is the breakdown by half-hour for Thursday, Nov. 10:
