Jackson Rathbone (Finding Carter) has joined the Season 4 cast of The Last Ship, TNT’s drama that already has been renewed for a fifth season. Created by Hank Steinberg and Steven Kane based on William Brinkley’s popular novel, The Last Ship chronicles the aftermath of a global catastrophe that nearly decimates the world’s population. Captain Tom Chandler (Eric Dane) and his crew must confront the reality of their new existence in a world where they may be among the few remaining survivors.
Rathbone will recur as Giorgio, a rich, Greek-American playboy who is charming but also is a dangerous thug. He uses his considerable wealth and power to make the Mediterranean his playground. Rathbone played vampire Jasper Hale in the first three Twilight movies and recurred on MTV’s Finding Carter. Other credits include the upcoming features Until We Meet Again and Justice. He is repped by Link Entertainment and attorney Peter Nelson.
