    Ratings Breakdown:
The final Thursday Night Football match-up on CBS, the Chicago Bears at the Green Bay Packers, led this fifth Thursday of the new TV season with ease at an estimated 7.3 rating/12 share in the household overnights from 8:30-11:30 p.m. But this was still 21 percent below the 9.2/15 for the year-ago match-up. As a reminder, overnight results for any live sporting event are always approximate.

Next Thursday on CBS will feature the return of “The Big Bang Theory” to the 8 p.m. half-hour, followed by the series-premiere of sitcom “The Great Indoors,” the season premieres of “Mom” and relocated “Life in Pieces,” and the series premiere of drama “Pure Genius.”

On Fox, two-hour musical event, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do Time the Warp Again,” disappointed at a 3.4/ 5 in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. While this was 48 percent above the overnights for week-ago Thursday night occupants “Rosewood” and “Pitch” (avg. 2.3/ 4 on Oct. 13) and 26 percent above the year-ago combination of “Bones” and “Sleepy Hollow” (avg. 2.7/ 4 on 10/22/15), it was also 54 percent below the household rating for the live production of “Grease!” on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016 (7.4/11). “The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do Time the Warp Again,” additionally, declined in each half-hour as follows: 3.9/ 6 – 3.5/ 6 – 3.2/ 5 – 2.9/ 5. From the first half-hour to the last half-hour it was down by 26 percent.

Thursday at 9 p.m. remains a particular sore spot for ABC, meanwhile, with recent entry “Notorious” at a fourth-place 2.9/ 5. Comparably, that was 55 percent below year-ago occupant “Scandal” (6.4/10 on 10/22/15) and the household retention out of lead-in “Grey’s Anatomy” (#1: 5.7. 9 from 8-9 p.m.) was only 49 percent.

    With diminished lead-in support, ABC’s “How To Get Away With Murder” at 10 p.m. dropped by 38 percent year-to-year, with a third-place 3.3/ 6.

On NBC, sitcoms “Superstore” (#4: 2.8/ 5) and recent entry “The Good Place” (#4: 2.5/ 4) dipped to season lows, with the pair, on average, only equal to short-lived year-ago time period occupant “Heroes Reborn.” But relocated “Chicago Med” rose to a second-place 4.5/ 7 at 9 p.m., building by 80 percent out of “The Good Place.” And it led into a 3.7/ 6 (#2) for relocated “The Blacklist,” which was 23 percent below its year-ago overnight performance in the Thursday 9 p.m. hour (4.8/ 8 on 10/22/15).

Improved The CW capped off the night with its combination of dramas “D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow” (#5: 1.4/ 2) and relocated “Supernatural” (#5: 1.2/ 2), which were 44 percent, on average, above the year-ago pairing of “The Vampire Diaries” (1.1/ 2) and spin-off “The Originals” (0.8/ 1).
