CBS has put in development Jumpmen, an hourlong drama from former The Good Wife executive producer Craig Turk and Jane the Virgin executive producer Ben Silverman.
Co-written and executive produced by Turk and Grant Thompson (McFarland USA), Jumpmen centers on Air Force pararescue jumpers who find, treat, and recover disaster victims in the most extreme, impossible circumstances. When a veteran PJ’s daughter becomes the first woman to qualify for his unit, the team’s personal and professional commitments are put to the ultimate test.
Silverman will executive produce via the A+E Networks-backed production company Propagate Content, which he heads with Howard T. Owens. CBS Television Studios, where Turk and his Thinking Hat Prods. are under an overall deal, is the studio.
