It鈥檚 a 24 reunion! 24 alum Mykelti Williamson is set for a recurring role on Designated Survivor, the new ABC drama series toplined by 24 star Kiefer Sutherland, from The Mark Gordon Company and ABC Studios.
In Designated Survivor, Sutherland stars as Tom Kirkman, a lower-level cabinet member, who unexpectedly becomes President after a devastating attack on Washington. He will struggle to prevent the country and his own family from falling into chaos, as he is thrust into one of the most difficult presidencies in history. Williamson will play Admiral Chernow, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, a forthright and intelligent career military man who quickly becomes one of President Kirkman鈥檚 most trusted advisors.
Williamson played Brian Hastings, Director of CTU New York, on the eighth season of Fox鈥檚 24 opposite Sutherland鈥檚 Jack Bauer.
