Thanks to Jovan for the heads up.
The Closer star Kyra Sedgwick is returning to primetime as the star of another drama series, Ten Days In the Valley. ABC has closed a deal for a 10-episode straight-to-series order for the project, from Tassie Cameron, co-creator and head writer of hit cop series Rookie Blue, and Skydance Television. The drama originally was taken out by Skydance in February with Demi Moore attached to star.
Ten Days In the Valley follows Jane Sadler (Sedgwick), an overworked television producer and single mother in the middle of a fractious separation. When her young daughter goes missing in the middle of the night, Jane’s world — and her controversial police series — implodes. Life imitates art: everything’s a mystery, everyone has a secret, and no one can be trusted.
