Scene Of The Week - August 21, 2016 + POLL

A weekly feature in which we're trying to find the most compelling, best acted, written, directed and just generally great, memorable scenes that we've seen in past seven days on TV.

DARK MATTER, "Stuff To Steal, People To Kill", August 19, 2016, Actors: Melissa O'Neil, Jessica Sipos, The Scene: Two fights Tash
Aimee Hicks:
This was an epic showdown between two immensely talented warriors and two immensely talented actresses. The characters were matched blow for blow in a stark contrast to their original encounter last season. In their first meeting it didn't take Two long to take down Tash, but given Two's failing health the fight went on much longer. Without intervention from the alternate reality Android there is no doubt that Two would have been killed by Tash. Thankfully the Android did intervene and Two lived to see the end of the fight. With the alternate universe in play now one can only hope that Tash will make another appearance one day. Jessica Sipos and Melissa O'Neil are a great fighting duo and make their fights look so flawless. This show is known for really cool fight sequences, but my top two favorites are the fights between these two characters. This episode was full of incredible moments, but the flawless execution of this fight sequence and the brilliant way Melissa handled the deterioration of Two's health made this my favorite scene of the whole episode.

KILLJOYS, "Full Metal Monk", August 19, 2016, Actors: Aaron Ashmore, Sarah Power and more, The Scene: The truth about the Wall is revealed
Justyna K:
Things are certainly getting worse for our team with the reveal that the Company can influence people's behavior and Johnny with Pawter are caught in the middle of the craziness. While Dutch and D'av find out more about Aneela and D'avin's new abilities, Jelco turns on the true power of The Wall. And it's not one I expected. As loopy and funny Johnny and Pawter might seem, it was quite a terrifying moment to see them so powerless and out of control. Jelco shoots the only ally Pawter had, one of the 9 named Arune, and the two don't even try to stop him. Even though Johnny is trying to fight the effect of the Wall, he's barely able to confirm their suspicions about the rations the Company gives to people of Old Town. Jelco has no problem with framing Pawter and Johnny in the murder, creating enough evidence to bring them down in the close future. Aaron Ashmore and Sarah Power do a wonderful work in the scene, as their characters are confronted with the truth they searched for and are unable to do anything about it. With both tears and smile on their faces, between euphoria and pain, we can see into the internal struggle of Johnny and Pawter through the actors' performances and realize the danger of the situation. I can't wait for the next episode, though I have a bad feeling things are not going to end well for these two. Kudos for another great episode!

MR. ROBOT, "eps2.5_h4ndshake.sme", August 17, 2016, Actors: Rami Malek and more
The Scene: The reveal that Elliot is in prison
Max Conte:
During a therapy session, it is revealed that Elliot is actually in prison and all of his PoV this season has been an elaborate cover-up in his mind.

SUITS, "Spain", August 17, 2016, Actors: Gabriel Macht, Neal McDonough, The Scene: Sean tells Harvey about his mother
Laura Markus:
Wow. We were all waiting to find out exactly why Sean was so adamant about taking on the Sutter case; what exactly did he have to lose. And man, oh man, was this a beautifully painful way of showing us. Sean is basically on the verge of tears, describing how Sutter kept his mother away from having her dream trip to Spain. And the fact that he lost her reminded Harvey of his dad, and Mike's parents, no doubt. You can see it on his face. Both these actors were in top form and this is such a great layer to Sean's story. I really hope he becomes a main character because he is just phenomenal to watch. I'll be thinking about this scene for a long time.
