Thanks to Mpmorales for the heads up.
Julian Morris is set to return as Dr. Wren Kingston in the back half of season seven, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
Rumors have been circulating about Morris’ return — and creator I. Marlene King confirmed Wren’s upcoming appearance back in June — but details of how big his arc will be are still a mystery.
Many fan have theorized that Wren is secretly Uber “A,” which was hinted at in his last appearance in season four when he colored in a photo of a woman in a red coat. More recently, he was spoken about but not seen when Spencer (Troian Bellisario) went to visit him and his wife — her sister, Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) — in London.
Morris' return comes as Pretty Little Liars' future remains in question. King previously told THR that season seven would serve as the "beginning of the end" for the long-running Freeform drama.
Morris' role on the series dates back to the pilot episode. However, he was previously unavailable for PLL due to his work on Amazon’s Hand of God, which returns for season two in 2017.
