Will & Grace alumna Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman (Parks & Recreation) will guest star in Season 2 of CBS comedy series Life In Pieces.
The real-life couple will play a brother-sister duo who are parents to Clementine, played by Hunter King. “Hunter’s character calls Nick’s character (Spencer) “Uncle Dad.” He’s helped his sister raise her children. They have a really unique relationship,” said Life In Pieces creator Justin Adler during a TCA lunch for the show.
Mullally’s character is Mary-Lynn, Clementine’s (King) free spirited, and very open minded mother. Her husband left her soon after Clementine was born, so she asked her brother to step in and be “Uncle Dad.” Mary-Lynn and Spencer (Offerman) are very supportive and caring parents to Clementine, but their relationship with each other is a little too close for comfort. In fact as adult siblings they share a bedroom with twin beds.
