Killjoys “Full Metal Monk” was written by Sean Reycraft and directed by Paolo Barzman. Reycraft has also written for Finding Carter, Rookie Blue, The Vampire Diaries and Slings and Arrows. This episode features a guest appearance by one of my favorite Canadian character actors – Julian Richings. Also guesting this episode are Pascal Langdale as Jelco, Morgan Kelly as Alvis, Patrick Garrow as Turin, and Thom Allison as Pree, who gets to show off his fabulous singing voice.
Delle (Mayko Nguyen) makes a brief appearance. She isn’t happy and orders the wall “activated.” Pree is both shiney and happy. D’Avin has to go to Alvis for help. Dutch and D’Avin discover what the wall does. Dutch is worried. Pawter gets a new outfit. Neither Pawter nor John are worried even though they are in very serious trouble by the end of the episode.
Once again the team is split up in this episode, and there’s action on two fronts. Both storylines move ahead well in this episode.
Here is some dialogue for you to try to piece together….
I can be badass too!
Lucky, lucky me.
Do you have anything bigger?
Actual me should end this.
Much obliged, shit-bag.
It does not taste like chicken.
Monk me up a bit.
You want revenge, right? I can get that for you.
You have terrible luck!
Old school is the best school.
It only listens to Dutch.
He gets to decide how much pain is too much.
You’re going to think I’m crazy.
This spa is shit.
That’s it? You’re just leaving?
Snacks are going to turn to smacks.
So much for small talk.
I do like a reunion. It’s like a divorce in reverse.
I want to learn to control what I can control.
World’s worst elevator.
Stop acting like I’m delicate.
I’m tired of hearing about your dusty junk.
Don’t forget to tune in to Killjoys on Syfy tonight at 9/8c!
