Robert Knepper has booked a recurring role on Season 6 of Showtime’s flagship drama series Homeland.
The new season of the series, starring Claire Danes, is set following the U.S. presidential election with a newly elected female POTUS (Elizabeth Marvel) who is a junior senator from New York and “a little Hillary, a little Donald and a little Bernie Sanders,” according to showrunner Alex Gansa.
Knepper will play General Jamie McClendon, the Department of Defense representative briefing President-elect Keane (Marvel) and her transition team.
