EW has learned exclusively that the erstwhile Hot in Cleveland star will pop up on ABC’s upcoming slice-of-life sitcom American Housewife, playing — you guessed it — an American housewife. Or at least, her mother.
Malick will play Katie’s (Katy Mixon) distant mother, Kathryn, described as a less-than-perfect parent and a former flight attendant for Pan Am who, naturally, is “a touch narcissistic” and is a thorn in Katy’s side during the holidays.
