Emmy-nominated Lili Taylor will return to American Crime for the upcoming third season, joining previously announced Timothy Hutton, Felicity Huffman, Regina King and Richard Cabral in the praised anthology series from John Ridley and Michael McDonald.
“John and I are honored that Lili Taylor is returning to the cast of ‘American Crime.’ Lili consistently performs with her soul exposed, and we are so blessed that she has chosen to share that gift with us. We can’t wait for the audience to see the physical and emotional transformation she will undergo this season,” said McDonald (Stearns Castle).
In Season 3, American Crime will deal with labor issues, economic divides and individual rights. The series is coming off a praised second season, and earned two Emmy noms earlier this month for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Series Or Movie for both Huffman and Taylor.
