Phil Coulson's team is going to run into more trouble with politicians in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD: Season 4.
IGN can exclusively reveal that The Blacklist alum Parminder Nagra will be guest starring in a multi-episode role in the coming season. Nagra will debut in episode 3, and will be playing a powerful political figure who is outspoken in her distrust of Inhumans and the threat they pose to society.
This development comes after Season 3 explored the awakening of the Inhuman gene around the world and what that meant for society. The season ended with Daisy Johnson splitting from SHIELD and going out on her own, off-the-radar journey.
Nagra is best known for playing Neela Rasgotra in NBC's ER and Jess in the film Bend It Like Beckham. She recently appeared as a series regular on NBC's The Blacklist and appeared on FOX's Alcatraz. Up next, she'll be starring in the Sky Atlantic and Pivot drama Fortitude, which premieres in January 2017.
