I certainly feel in these later episodes Wynonna Earp has upped its game. Don’t get me wrong this show had me from the first episode but now we are not just seeing Wynonna chasing about after revenants.
The stories are weaved carefully into what is happening and the clues for what may be still to come are given out in tiny pieces each week.
This week’s episode I was entertained, intrigued and answered a few questions I wondered about from earlier episodes.
Previously we all saw BoBo do one thing he knew would get to Wynonna. He bought Shorty’s her safe haven and Earp’s drinking hole. As you can imagine she is kind of upset about this and puts her anger to good use.
While Wynonna may have buried her own body weight in tequila last week she shows she really is the Hero and prepared to face whatever is still to come.
Doc Holiday seems to be at a loose end now he has buried his revenge along with the Stone Witch in salt and Wynonna's gift of Constance's pink car leaves him wondering what to do.
Waverly is hanging around the police station helping but I feel it has more to do with her budding relationship with a certain Haught Deputy.
When Dolls and Wynonna become privy to some information they believe the old analogue ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’. However, a trip to the woods reveals more than anyone thought it would and leaves them both shaken in more ways than one.
