The SpoilerTV 2016 Episode Competition - Day 2 - Round 1: Polls 5-8
22 Jun 2016
2016 Episode Competition American Crime Doctor Who Game of Thrones Orphan Black Person of Interest The 100 The Big Bang Theory The OriginalsDAY 2! (Results from yesterday can be found here.)
The rules are as follows:
1. Two episodes go head to head for 24 hours. The episode that emerges as the winner will go through to the next round.
2. Vote for your favourite episode, and tell us what you voted for.
3. Tell others about the competition! Social media is your best friend in this competition if you want your favourite episode to win.
4. Be respectful. This is a competition, but be friendly. Let's not have any abuse directed at any person, fandom or show, as we've had on occasion in the past.
Up first today is holder Person of Interest, with its 100th episode taking on The 100's "Nevermore". This could be a really interesting contest, given the backlash that has been experienced by both shows this season, both relating to the death of lesbian characters (Root on Person of Interest; Lexa on The 100). The negative response hasn't been quite as widespread with POI, so I'd imagine that will probably win out, but we shall see. Next is the first part of Doctor Who's ninth season finale, "Heaven Sent", facing Game of Thrones' "Book of the Stranger". We then move on and see Orphan Black's "The Antisocialism of Sex" up against The Originals' third season finale, "The Bloody Crown", before the seventh episode of American Crime's second season goes head-to-head with The Big Bang Theory's Star Wars-themed hour "The Opening Night Excitation".
