Alysia Reiner (Orange is the New Black), Jeremy Strong (The Big Short) and Ashley Zukerman (Manhattan) have signed on for recurring roles in Season 4 of Showtime’s Masters of Sex.
Reiner will play Anita. Outspoken, attractive, hyper-confident, in a Gloria Steinem way in her early days – she leads a feminist empowerment group and challenges Libby (Caitlin FitzGerald) to raise her consciousness as a woman in the late 60s. Strong will portray Art. A psychologist from the Kinsey Institute brought in to be Johnson’s new partner in the expanding practice. He’s smart, gregarious and open, creating a refreshing frankness in his and Virginia’s partnership. Zukerman is new clinic patient Gary Diebold, a tightly wound man upset that he no longer seems to pleasure his wife. Raised to be a “gentleman,” he just can’t understand why she wants him to be less “gentle” in the bedroom.
