Haters, you now have a scheduled time to back off.
Netflix’s new original series starring YouTube star Colleen Ballinger — better known as the dame of tone-deaf, Miranda Sings — has set its premiere date. EW has learned & Haters Back Off will debut its eight-episode first season on Oct. 14, launching globally on Netflix. (Ballinger also announced the date during her appearance at VidCon.)
The half-hour single-cam comedy series follows Miranda and her odd family, including her Uncle Jim (Steve Little), an awkward and occasionally inappropriate champion of his niece and her unending efforts at reaching fame; her mother, Bethany (The Office’s Angela Kinsey), whose doting behavior may explain how Miranda turned out the way she did; and Patrick (Erik Stocklin), Miranda’s neighbor and best friend.
