Game of Silence - Hey - Advance Preview

Game of Silence returns with “Hey” written by Hiram Martinez and directed by Robert Mandel. Marinez has also written for The Lost Ship. Mandel’s many credits include Dominion, Lost, and Nash Bridges. David Lyons (Jackson) delivers a terrific performance and look for another amazing scene from Michael Raymond-James (Gil) at the end of the episode – he doesn’t hold anything back from this performance.

This episode ramps up the intrigue as old alliances are broken and new ones formed. Marina’s (Claire van der Boom) parents are not happy with Jackson. Jackson and Diana Stockton (Sharon Lawrence) have a frank exchange of views. In a later scene, Diana peels off another layer or two – and forms an unlikely alliance. Lawrence looks like she’s having a ball playing this part!

Gil gets Jessie (Bre Blair) a present, but it’s Marina who gets a real surprise. Jessie has some interesting information. Gil and Shawn (Larenz Tate) come clean. Shawn makes a horrible discovery. Gil has bad luck with tools but gets his money’s worth with $20.

Terry (Demetrius Grosse) makes some changes. Terry demands something from Liz (Deidrie Henry), who makes her own gruesome discovery. Carroll (Conor O’Farrell) proves that he is perfectly capable of taking care of his own business.

The flashbacks this week are all to Boots (Derek Phillips) and Annie’s (Nikki Tomlinson) wedding. Here are some random lines in no particular order… make of them what you will!

I’m done screwing up.
I’ll double your empire.
There’s a plan in place for Jackson Brooks.
All you need to do is behave.
You’re a much better driver from the trunk.
I don’t want to hurt people I care about.
Just the way the Warden wanted it.
I’ve been quiet for too long.
Me forgetting your face will cost a little bit more.
I’m not really here to listen.
Your services are no longer needed.
It’s George Strait, Captain Smug.

Don’t forget to tune in tonight at 9/8C for “Hey” followed at 10/9C by a second episode – “Truth.” The series will come to a stunning conclusion on SUNDAY, June 5 at 10/9C – all on NBC.
