  • 04:05 - Fuller House - Season 2 - Spoilers from TVLine

Who’s ready for Fuller House: Attack of the Clones?

TVLine has learned that both of D.J.’s Season 1 suitors — Steve and Matt, neither of whom received roses during the finale’s Bachelor spoof — will have new women on their arms in Season 2, including one who looks frighteningly familiar.

First up is C.J., a virtual copy of D.J. “from the way they look to the way they speak to the way they act,” and it should come as no surprise that she’ll be dating Steve. It should also come as no surprise that the similarities will irk D.J., pushing her towards her breaking point. (Despite Full House‘s history of having actors play two roles — hello, Cousin Stavros! — the current plan is for C.J. to be played by an actress other than Candace Cameron Buré.)

As for Matt, he’ll find “love” in Cristal, a twenty-something hot yoga instructor who often walks between rooms using only her hands. Dating Cristal sounds like an obvious ploy to make D.J. jealous… but will it work?
Of course, Matt and Steve aren’t the only ones moving on in Season 2; as TVLine previously reported, Stephanie is also getting a new man, described as being “a touch on the weird side.”

  • 00:45 - F to 7th - Comedy in Development at Showtime based on Web Series
Ingrid Jungermann, whose first feature, Women Who Kill, just premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, winning a best screenplay juried award, is heading to television. Showtime has put in development F to 7th, a half-hour comedy based on Jungermann’s popular web series of the same name.

Jungermann will write the adaptation and will executive produce alongside Wet Hot American Summer co-creator Michael Showalter, who appeared on the Web series, as well as director Jamie Babbit (But I’m a Cheerleader), Portlandia co-executive producer Karey Dornetto and Principato-Young’s Peter Principato (Flaked).

F to 7th chronicles the female descent into pre-middle age in a world where sexuality and gender have left old-fashioned lesbianism behind. Jungermann created and starred in the Web series, which ran for two seasons, but is not attached to act in the TV version.

  • 00:45 - Legends of Tomorrow - Mitchell Kummen MyFanbase Interview
Thanks to Philomina for the heads up.
    1. You played a number of young versions of our favorite characters. Preparing for these roles do you study certain mannerisms of the older actor or something like that?

No, I don't prepare as such with that in mind but I do put myself into character as much as possible and because that's a younger version of an established character we end up having some of the same mannerisms.

    6. What one thing about "Legends of Tomorrow" would people not know?

That 90% of the show is shot in studio and not on location

    7. Are you a fan of the DC Universe? If yes, who do you love more, the heroes or the villains?

Absolutely and I love the heroes more, mainly the Justice League.

  • 21:05 - Better Things - Celia Imrie Joins FX Comedy Series
Celia Imrie (The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) has been cast opposite Pamela Adlon on FX’s comedy series Better Things. From Louis C.K. and his longtime friend and collaborator Adlon, Better Things is a semi-autobiographical vehicle for Adlon similar to the way Louie is for C.K. It centers on Sam (Adlon), a working actor with no filter trying to earn a living, navigate her daughters’ lives, have fun with a friend or two and also — just maybe — squeeze in some private time once in awhile.

Imrie will play Phyllis, Sam’s (Adlon) spotlight-stealing, English mom. She’s a loving and colluding grandma but a frustrating mother, an issue only compounded by the fact that Phyllis lives across the street. Imrie joined the cast in the regular role after the pilot was picked up to series. She was recently seen in Fox Searchlight’s The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and her other film credits include Bridget Jones’ Diary and Calendar Girls. She is repped by Don Buchwald Associates, Magnolia Entertainment and United Agents in the UK.

  • 23:05 - MOVIES: Blade Runner Sequel - Release Date Moved Up
The Blade Runner sequel is arriving sooner than previously scheduled.

Alcon Entertainment announced Wednesday that the follow-up to Ridley Scott's 1982 sci-fi masterpiece will open on Oct. 6, 2017, instead of Jan. 12 of the following year. (The shift means Blade Runner will roll out in the heart of awards season.)

Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford (star of the original), Robin Wright and Dave Bautista will star in the redux, which will be released by Warner Bros. in North America and Sony Pictures International overseas.

Principal photography is scheduled to begin in July. The sequel, set several decades after the original, is written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, and succeeds the initial story by Fancher and David Peoples based on Philip K. Dick’s novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. The exact storyline is being kept under tight wraps.

  • 23:05 - Z Nation - Season 3 - Keith Allan's Murphy Being Recast?
Thanks to Bazooka for the heads up.
Z Nation‘s human/zombie hybrid Murphy may be on the verge of his most dramatic transformation yet.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the producers of Syfy’s undead drama have issued a casting call for Keith Allan’s role of Murphy ahead of Season 3. I’m told the move is related to a contract dispute between Murphy and Z Nation producer The Asylum. The hope is that the conflict will be resolved before production resumes on May 1, rendering a recast unnecessary.

Syfy referred questions about Allan’s status to The Asylum, a rep for which did not respond to our multiple requests for comment. Allan’s personal rep also did not respond to a request for comment.

  • 04:30 - One Day At A Time - Todd Grinnell to Co-Star in Netflix Revival
Todd Grinnell is set to co-star opposite Justina Machado and Rita Moreno in One Day At A Time, Netflix’s remake of Norman Lear’s classic sitcom that revolves around a Cuban-American family. Grinnell plays the only character from the original series to be transplanted in the reboot, the quirky building superintendent Schneider. He was played on the 1975 CBS series by Pat Harrington Jr., who won an Emmy for the role.

The 13-episode multi-camera comedy, written by Gloria Calderon Kellett and Mike Royce, centers on Penelope (Machado), a recently separated former military mom who is navigating a new single life while raising her radical teenaged daughter and socially adept tween son, with the “help” of her old school Cuban-born mom and a friends-without-benefits building manager named Schneider (Grinnell).

The retooled Schneider is a charming and over-privelidged handyman who lives in his dad’s building rent-free in return for being the building manager. He fetishizes blue collar work and romanticizes poverty – sincere and well meaning, but leads a very different life than the hard-working former Army single mom that is Penelope.

  • 22:30 - MOVIES: Now You See Me 3 - Jon M. Chu Returning to Direct
Jon M. Chu is returning to the director’s chair for Lionsgate’s “Now You See Me 3,” Variety has learned exclusively.

The studio struck a deal with Chu nearly two months before it releases his “Now You See Me 2” on June 10 — a signal that it believes the sequel will perform in the same range as the 2013 original, which took in $351.7 million worldwide.

CEO Jon Feltheimer announced nearly a year ago during a conference call with analysts that Lionsgate had already started planning for the third film, but gave no details.
