MARY MUST DECIDE IF SHE SHOULD SAVE ELIZABETH — Mary (Adelaide Kane), in order to protect Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten), unknowingly puts Gideon’s (Ben Geurens) life in danger. To save him, Mary turns to another Englishman for help – Robert Dudley (Charlie Carrick). Meanwhile, Bash (Torrance Coombs) is determined to track down the men behind the threats to Catherine (Megan Follows). IT’S A PARTY – Jane (Gina Rodriguez) has made big plans to celebrate Mateo’s first birthday, but things start to fall apart when she learns there might be an issue with her wedding venue. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) faces a challenge on set that could jeopardize Jane’s big day. Jane is excited when Alba (Ivonne Coll) gives her a lead on a book publisher, but soon begins having doubts about her writing. Jane and Petra (Yael Grobglas) try to help Rafael (Justin Baldoni) figure out his troubles, but they have differing opinions on how to handle the situation. Meanwhile, Michael (Brett Dier) is convinced that Derek (guest star Mat Vairo) is really in cahoots with Mutter (guest star Fabiana Udenio) and has a plan to prove it. Andrea Navedo also stars. LIES AND MORE LIES — As the situation inside the cordon grows more dire, Lex’s (David Gyasi) frustration builds as he becomes increasingly conflicted by the messages of false hope he’s being forced to send to the public. When Jana (Christina Moses) suspects something is off with Lex’s demeanor, she realizes the situation may be more serious than the government is letting on and devises a plan to reach Lex directly. At the hospital, Dr. Cannerts (George Young) continues working towards finding an antidote, while Jake (Chris Wood) helps Katie (Kristen Gutoskie) cope with some personal issues. Elsewhere, Leo (Trevor St. John) becomes concerned for his friends inside the cordon and turns to an unlikely ally to help him.
