At the start of this episode, we see that Danny is contemplating moving in with Riley. At first Ben discourages him and points out that it seems a little too soon. However, he changes his tune when he finds out that Sam needs somewhere closer to stay or she’ll have to quit her job at the bar. Ben cannot let this happen because he still hasn’t won her over. Ben is a master manipulator though, as evidenced by this episode (not hating - just facts), and he comes up with the perfect plan to get Sam to move into his apartment. He convinces both Danny and Riley to move in together and then offers Danny’s room to Sam. It seems like everything is going to work out until things backfire and Danny and Riley end up in a huge, relationship ending fight. I was a little worried for a second but thankfully, they caught onto Ben’s plan and were just pretending to fight to teach Ben a lesson. When Ben thinks he ruined their relationship, he goes to great lengths to get them back together and it’s actually really cute how much he supports them now. In the end Danny moves in with Riley and Sam moves in with Ben but she ends up having a boyfriend. This doesn’t change Ben’s plan to win her over though, which it seems like he’ll never give up on.
Meanwhile, Bonnie gets a new job and when she needs an assistant, Ben convinces her to hire Tucker. The job turns out to be pretty challenging for her but Tucker is making it look easy. He’s a better real estate agent than her! When her new boss finds out that Tucker is actually the one making all the sales, he fires her and hires Tucker. However, they come up with a plan to get her job back by saying that Tucker lied about everything. Surprisingly, it works and Bonnie gets her job back. I can’t say enough how much I love any scene between Bonnie and Tucker, they’re just hilarious together and this episode was no exception!

Stupid Cupid
In Stupid Cupid, we see Riley trying to play Cupid by getting Zoey and Ben together. She thinks they have a lot in common, which, to be fair, turns out to be true. One of the running gags throughout the episode was how much they have in common, with them owning identical band T-shirts and a tent from the same summer camp. Even with all their similarities, Ben just can’t try things with Zoey because he still has feelings for Sam and wants a shot with her. Throughout the episode Riley has many tactics for making Zoey and Ben happen, including setting Zoey up with a coworker so that Ben will see that she’s in demand. She also sabotages a dinner that Ben was setting up for Sam. Eventually, Ben has had enough and confronts her about everything. He points out that he has had feelings for Sam since high school, kind of like Danny for Riley, and she needs to let go of whatever negative feelings she has towards Sam. I really liked this scene, I think scenes like these really strengthen Ben and Riley’s friendship and even though I wasn’t a fan of them dating, I’m very pro Ben and Riley as friends. Anyways, Zoey’s son starts having trouble breathing while Riley is babysitting and Ben really steps up to help. He suggests they use steam from the shower to help his breathing and it works. Zoey and Ben share a moment and a kiss in the bathroom, which obviously complicates things considering his feelings for Sam. I wonder who he’ll end up picking. They can’t keep this love triangle going on forever…however, the last love triangle took four seasons to resolve.
Meanwhile, Danny starts thinking about what he’ll do after his hockey career is over and when Tucker has an audition for a weather reporter job, Bonnie tries to get Danny a chance at doing the sports for the same channel. This doesn't really work out and the best she can do is getting Danny the weather reporter job. Obviously Tucker is upset so he sabotages Danny by putting him in a giant sun costume while he reads the weather. He looks ridiculous but also kind of cute and it turns out that his outfit got the station so much buzz that the boss decides to hire Danny for sports and then Tucker for weather. Bonnie even makes a hilarious cameo in Tucker’s first weather report, where they dress up as clouds and lightning to rap about weather conditions. Their song and dance numbers are always great and this one was one of the best!
