  • 19:35 - Teen Wolf - Season 5 - Gideon Emery Interview
Thanks to Philomina for the heads up.
It's so good to have Deucalion back! I was waiting for that moment ever since he sent Braeden to rescue Derek from the Calaveras. What was it like for you to be back in Beacon Hills?

For me the actor, it was great. Teen Wolf feels like a 2nd family. From cast to crew, they really are an exceptional group of warm, hard working people. Always a treat to go to work! For Deucalion, there was probably some reluctance in returning, but at the same time he's been waiting a long time, watching from a distance. And to have the chance to prove he's truly changed was, like for most of us, a special opportunity that doesn't come around too often.

Most of your scenes this time around were with Cody Christian, a worthy successor in the line of Teen Wolf villains that we love to hate and hate to love simultaneously. Did you guys get to talk a little bit about how to achieve this kind of impact?

We didn't talk about that specifically. But meeting Cody was rewarding as he enjoyed my character in season 3. And I'd been enjoying his plotting, charming role, so it felt like a natural pairing. They're both intelligent villains, not simple brute force and that's always more interesting to play as an actor.

  • 19:25 - Trail - Nina Arianda Joins Amazon Drama Series
Thanks to Pawel for the heads up.
Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur) is set for a series regular role opposite Billy Bob Thornton in Amazon’s upcoming original drama Trial, from executive producer David E. Kelley.

The legal drama, which Kelley co-wrote with his Practice and Boston Legal producer Jonathan Shapiro, centers on Billy McBride (Thornton). Once a big and powerful lawyer, Billy has become a shell of his former self after losing a case that saw an innocent kid murdered. His guilt-driven alcoholism cost him his wife and his job as his longtime partner Cooper turned on him and kicked him out of their law firm. Still hanging onto his dry charisma, Billy is now going head-to-head against Cooper, bringing a case against his former partner, which begins to stir in him his old ambition. Arianda will play Patty Solis-Papagian, a fast-talking, go-getter attorney. William Hurt, Olivia Thirlby, Maria Bello and Sarah Wynter also star.

  • 21:15 - Law and Order: SVU - Season 17 - Richard Belzer to Return
Thanks to Jessica for the heads up.

Richard Belzer is returning to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, EW has learned exclusively.

The original cast member, whose character retired in season 15, will guest-star in an episode slated for May, titled “Fashionable Crimes,” in which Munch returns to weigh in on the case of a young model who claims she was preyed upon by a famous fashion house photographer. While the photographer had been on Munch and Fin’s (Ice-T) radar for some time, they’ve never been able to make a case against him until now.

“We love having Richard back on set,” executive producer Warren Leight says. “This episode was perfect for Munch’s cynical eye, and just the right time for him to give Benson [Mariska Hargitay], and Noah, some much needed support.”

I’ve been sworn to secrecy about the specifics of Whitman’s role, but here’s what I can tell you: She shares a really fun (albeit small) moment with Graham that will delight Parenthood fans.

NEW YORK – March 22, 2016 – USA Network today announced four additional cast members in the upcoming drama series EYEWITNESS (original title “Øyevitne”). James Paxton (“Texas Rising”) and Gil Bellows (“Ascension,” “11.22.63”) join Julianne Nicholson (“Black Mass,” “Masters of Sex”) and Tyler Young (“Empire”) as lead characters in the Norwegian drama adaptation. Tattiawna Jones (“19-2,” “Strange Empire”) and Matt Murray (“Kevin From Work,” “Rookie Blue”) join the ensemble cast as recurring guest stars.

Paxton will co-lead as “Lukas Hallenbeck,” a young teenaged boy who seems to have it all – popularity, motocross stardom, and the hottest girl in school. But beneath the surface, he’s deeply conflicted about his sexuality. When he meets Philip (Young) – a classmate who’s more comfortable in his skin – Lukas starts a journey towards self-acceptance that is interrupted when the boys witness a quadruple murder. His sanity begins to slip as he’s hunted by the killer and haunted by the fear of being outed as gay and losing everything he has.

Born and raised in Ojai, CA, Paxton started his career at the age of nine in “Spy Kids 3.” After attending New York University, he studied British film and theater in London. Son of actor Bill Paxton, he most recently starred alongside Vince Vaughn in “Term Life” and appeared in “Texas Rising.”

Jones is set for the role of “Kamilah,” an unapologetic FBI agent who suddenly finds her loyalty to her job and troubled sister at odds. When Kamilah’s own case intersects with Sherriff Hellen Torrance’s, they forge a friendship that leads her to question everything she thought she wanted.

After graduating high school, Tattiawna Jones went to York University and completed a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in Acting. Recent credits include a recurring guest star role in the TV series "19-2" and a series regular role in the TV series "Strange Empire.”

Murray will be featured as “Tony,” Helen’s bright-eyed and bushy-tailed deputy with big dreams, whose life is forever changed when a grisly crime happens in his small town.

  • 01:30 - Heartland - Returning for a 10th Season
Thanks to RD for the heads up.
Heartland fans have a lot to celebrate. Not only was their favourite TV show renewed for Season 10, but Ty and Amy’s lives are about to take a huge step forward.

Yes, on their first wedding anniversary, Amy announced to Ty that she’s pregnant. (Congratulations to showrunner Heather Conkie and her writing crew for having Cassandra’s pregnancy throw us off the trail.) I assumed Sunday’s season-ender “Resolutions” would deal largely with Lou and Peter’s decision to get back together or not. It did, but Amy and Ty still stole the show from them.

  • 10:30 - Sense8 - Season 2 - Filming in 16 Cities Until October
Thanks to Arno for the heads up.
“I was surprised to find out I would be actually shooting scenes in cities where the characters live. I was constantly travelling from Iceland to Nairobi, then to Seoul, to Berlin and to Mexico City when filming the season one,” said Bae. Each of the eight characters in “Sense 8” live in different cities around the world. Their minds connect with one another unexpectedly when their mental and emotional states are linked.

There will be even more globetrotting for Bae this year, as she will be filming season two in 16 cities, spending two weeks in each city until September.

“I always think the script writers are geniuses in putting together scenes scattered in many parts of the world,” said Bae.

But Bae was wary of giving too much away about Bak’s fate in season two.

“The directors are very cautious about spoilers,” said Bae. “Sun Pak, who was put in prison for taking her brother’s crime upon herself, will return stronger than ever in season two,” she added.
