People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story - The Conspiracy Theories - Review

There’s really not much I can say about this episode aside from Chris Darden was a disappointment throughout this entire episode. First he left Marica hanging outside her hotel room and then he let O.J. try on the gloves. I was really shipping Marica and Darden. I am choosing to believe the show got it wrong and there really was something going on there. Back onto my disappoint in Darden, what was going through his mind, seriously? Marcia told him not to let O.J. try on the gloves. First off it’s a known fact that O.J. had arthritis and it was reported that he stopped taking his medication while he was in jail. Second of all they made O.J. wear latex gloves under the actual gloves, its obviously going to make the original pair of gloves smaller. Third off, the most important reason of all O.J. was an actor. He could have acted out the gloves not fitting. This incident was a big loss for the prosecution in terms of the case itself and loss of trust between Marcia and Darden. I hinted in my previous reviews that Darden’s fasciation over Johnnie would come into play in future episodes and it did. He manipulated Darden into doing exactly what he wanted. I want to hate Johnnie, I really do, but he’s just so smooth and cunning I can’t help but root for him.

Best parts of the episode:
-Marcia explaining to Darden’s friends how ridiculous it would be for the LAPD to set up O.J. and how it was next to impossible.

Sorry for the short review but the only thing that I can really talk about is Darden and the gloves.
