Black Sails continues this upcoming Saturday with its eighth episode in its mouth-watering epic third season. Rackham being turned over to the Spanish with the gold is the main feature this outing but it will sure be a memorable one when a rescue mission is put in motion with one character getting knocked down.
Jack plays a key role this episode and is the primary focus. The episode focuses heavily on his past regrets and those things he would do differently should he of had more time. He acknowledges that his ambition is what got him caught. This episode allowed Toby Schmitz a moment to shine; Schmitz has been a highlight this season in the department of acting and consistently portrays Jacks emotions wonderfully. Jack though hasn't given up hope, as long as his friends are out there he's optimistic they will rescue him, just how far are they willing to go?
Eleanor worries about the upcoming trade with the Spanish. She fears something will go wrong and they will lose Nassau's only hope, Rogers. Max tells a worried Eleanor that she knows the plan and has people in each direction to prevent that from happening, but even Max is concerned and knows Anne won't let Jack go without some resistance. Max also uncovers the truth about something and fears there is a leak among the people closest to her.
Elsewhere, Eleanor seeks help from one person that you wouldn't expect her to be asking and they inform her what's about to happen. Billy finds a new role for himself in the upcoming battle when he has to make a choice and violence erupts on the Walrus.
A lot more happens, but that's all I'm going to give you as I don't watch to spoil anything, but below are a few dialogue teasers for you all!
"If we wait here any longer either we'll miss him or someone will find us hiding out here"
"We must hold the line and stand together. There is no other alternative."
"Last night is not an experience I hope to repeat anytime soon. But my mind is clear.
"This is not the way I'd hoped this affair would turn out, but it won't turn out the way you think it will."
"Go.Go.Go.Go."
As always, thank you for reading. Don't forget to tune in this Saturday for the eighth episode of Black Sails!
