Thanks to Alex Forrest for the heads up.
It’s Bobbi and Hunter time
We’ve had a keen eye out on Bobbi and Hunter ever since news broke of their developing spinoff, Marvel’s Most Wanted. After playing storyline backup for quite a while, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 3×13 brings our favorite divorced-lovers-united-in-espionage back to the center of the screen in weighty, entertaining fashion. “Parting Shot” reminds us why we love Bobbi and Hunter — and yes, why they frustrate us, too. Both together and separately, Mockingbird and the ex-merc are refreshed, re-invigorated… and posed in a situation so dire that even all of their combined audacity may not be enough to set them free.
A new Inhuman… and something else entirely
A formidable new Inhuman joins the fray in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 3×13, with a bizarre ability that leaves the team on its knees. This character remains pretty opaque throughout the episode, but his fate ties heavily into Bobbi and Hunter’s. After all, power is good distraction from power. Speaking of which, the episode also teases the introduction of a new element in the upcoming season, which arrives in a decidedly unexpected form. Still, we have no doubt that sitting up and paying attention might be wide — if not automatic — when this confident new player enters the game.
