  • 19:35 - Recovery Road - Episode 1.06 - Heaven Backwards - Press Release
When one of her housemates faces a crisis, Maddie learns the hard way that sobriety is about the choices we make, not just staying drug-free, on an all-new episode of “Recovery Road,” airing MONDAY, FEBRUARY 29 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST) on Freeform, the new name for ABC Family.

In the episode “Heaven Backwards,” which unfolds in real time, Maddie is at a loss with how to help when Trish faces a crisis. But Maddie’s good intentions may have a devastating effect on her roommate. Wes is struggling with a secret, which is compounded by the chaos happening in the house. Cynthia bonds with Craig, while Charlotte reaches out to Margarita for insight involving Maddie. And a disturbing truth comes to light at Springtime Meadows. Flashbacks highlight Wes’ frenetic childhood, which may have set him on his current path.

The episode, titled “Heaven Backwards,” was written by Michael Gans and Richard Register, and directed by Chris Grismer.

  • 22:50 - Legends of Tomorrow - Episode 1.04 - Airing in Canada after Super Bowl
Thanks to bbussey for the heads up.
CTV hopes Super Bowl Sunday and superheroes fit snugly together.

A new episode of rookie superhero series DC's Legends of Tomorrow will air immediately following CTV's broadcast of Super Bowl 50, on Sunday, Feb. 7.

What this means is, if you're tuned to a CTV channel for the Super Bowl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow will follow the game. If you're tuned to a CBS channel, a special episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will follow the game.

CTV had to come up with its own plan because while it owns Canadian rights to the Super Bowl, it does not own Canadian rights to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which debuted last week, originates on CW in the United States. It regularly airs Thursdays on CW and CTV.

So the new episode CTV is showing after the Super Bowl on Feb. 7 won't be seen on CW until the following Thursday, Feb. 11. On that day, CTV will repeat the post-Super Bowl episode, to get back in sync with CW.

“THE LAST MAN ON EARTH” TO RETURN SUNDAY, MARCH 6, ON FOX

Animated BORDERTOWN Moves to Sundays at 7:00 PM Beginning Sunday, March 6

THE LAST MAN ON EARTH will make its spring premiere with all-new episodes beginning Sunday, March 6 (9:30-10:00 ET/PT) on FOX. Also on March 6, BORDERTOWN, the new animated series from executive producers Mark Hentemann and Seth MacFarlane, will move to its new time period, Sundays (7:00-7:30 PM ET/PT).

THE LAST MAN ON EARTH fall finale concluded with PHIL MILLER 2 (guest star Boris Kodjoe) undergoing a makeshift appendix surgery, and PHIL/TANDY’s (Will Forte) astronaut brother, MIKE MILLER (guest star Jason Sudeikis), attempting to descend to Earth from outer space without human aid.

The winter premiere will pick up exactly where the show left off, with Mike Miller’s space capsule careening through the sky toward Earth, finally putting him on the same planet as his big brother, PHIL/TANDY (Forte). Mike thinks he is the last man on earth, but who knows what or whom he might encounter. As previously announced, Critics’ Choice Award winner and Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Jacob Tremblay (“The Room”) will appear as a young PHIL/TANDY in an upcoming episode this spring.

Before moving time periods on Sunday, March 6, BORDERTOWN returns with all-new episodes on Sunday, Feb. 14 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Sunday, Feb. 21 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT).

  • 21:45 - Eyewitness - Tyler Young To Star; Catherine Hardwicke to Direct and Executive Produce
Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight) is set to direct and executive produce the first two episodes of USA Network’s 10-episode straight-to-series drama Eyewitness. Tyler Young has been cast as one of the two young leads in the project, an adaptation of the Norwegian crime thriller Øyevitne. Additionally, Scott Peters (V) has joined as an executive producer and will direct multiple episodes of the Universal Cable Prods. series, from Shades Of Blue creator Adi Hasak, who wrote it and will serve as executive producer/showrunner. The original series’ creator Jarl Emsell Larsen will executive produce.

Eyewitness, in the popular Nordic noir genre, explores a grisly crime from the point of view of the eyewitnesses. In it, two innocent teenage boys secretly meet up in the forest where they bear witness to a shooting and barely escape with their lives. Desperate to keep their relationship a secret and in fear of being found by the perpetrator, they remain silent but soon learn that what has been seen cannot be unseen and when you witness a horrible event it changes everything, forever.

Young will play one of the two teenagers, Philip O’Brien. A sensitive yet tough boy from the projects who’s seen more pain than anyone ever should, he gets a shot to start over with his foster mother, Helen, in an idyllic small town. There, Philip’s on the verge of falling in love with a boy from school, Lukas, when they witness a quadruple murder.

The series will begin production in Canada later this year and is set to premiere in 2016 on USA.
