NBC is fallowing through on its promise for a balanced comedy pilot slate that features single-camera and multi-comedy projects. The network continued to beef up its multi-camera portfolio with a fourth such pilot order today, to Me & Mean Margaret, from veteran comedy writer Adam Barr (Will & Grace) and producer Peter Chernin.
Written by Barr, Me & Mean Margaret is described as an unlikely buddy comedy that follows a fiercely candid and often offensive legendary actress and the ambitious 27-year-old lawyer forced to babysit her. Barr and Chernin executive produce for Universal TV and Chernin Entertainment.
This marks the first pilot order for Chernin Entertainment since the company moved from 20th Century Fox TV to NBCUniversal last summer.
