Written by Doris Egan (Reign), the thriller follows a team of explorers who arrive on Mars to join the first human colony on the planet, only to discover that their predecessors have vanished. Led by a woman whose husband is among the missing, the colonists are forced to change their mission from exploration and settlement to investigation and survival, while navigating the hostile planet and their own personal demons.
Makkar will play Devi, Beukes is Santos, and Chirisa plays Carmack. All are part of the team of explorers who are sent to join the Mars colony.
Makkar’s recent TV credits include The Following, The Vampire Diaries and American Horror Story. She’s repped by Principato Young Entertainment. Beukes played Gabriel in Syfy’s Dominion, and appeared in features Eye In The Sky and Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom. He’s repped by Wishlab in the U.S. and Moonyeenn Lee & Associate in South Africa. Chisira can currently be seen on The Jim Gaffigan Show and also appeared on Sleepy Hollow and American Horror Story.
