Demi Moore is set to star in 10 Days In the Valley, a drama series project from top Canadian TV writer-producer Tassie Cameron, co-creator, executive producer and head writer of hit cop series Rookie Blue.
Written by Cameron, who will serve as showrunner, 10 Days in the Valley centers on Jane Sadler (Moore), an overworked writer and single mother in the middle of a fractious separation. When her five-year-old daughter is taken from bed in the middle of the night, Jane must put everything on the line – including her TV series, her loyalties, and her own deep secrets – to get her child back.
I hear the project, from Skydance Television (Grace and Frankie, Manhattan), is currently being shopped to networks.
This would mark the first major TV series role for Moore, who started off on ABC’s daytime drama General Hospital before segueing to a feature career marked by such hits as Ghost, A Few Good Men and Charlie’s Angels. In TV, she produced and co-starred in the Emmy-nominated 1996 HBO film If These Walks Could Talk.
